Need a Motivation Build~ I've been trying to make one myself , but all ive been bumping into is Command Builds. I have many command builds but just wanted to ask if anyone has a motivation build they want to share with me.

3. Blazing Spear
4. Song of Restoration
5. Ballad of Restoration
6. Aria of Zeal
7. Leader's Comfort or Mending Refrain
8. Rez of your choice

How do you afford that build energy wise?

Still doesn't account for 15 energy shouts, and 10 energy skills, with no adrenaline shouts to fuel energy.

It's so easy to fix the 'energy problem'.

That's a PvE build, obviously, and in PvE Paragons aren't targeted often at all. And if they are, they won't die easily. Leader's Comfort won't get much use due to that, and Mending Refrain = bad; in this case since there's an energy crisis.

Make it this

7. Energizing Chorus - it's adrenaline in to energy, AND you cut energy from your shouts. It's a win win situation.

Still have energy problems? Take out Spear of Lightning and make it an adrenaline spear attack skill.

There's other good Motivation skills out there that can compliment you and the party at the same time. Motivation leans more towards supporting your party members, either most of them casters or melee, there's a chant out there for them.

Oh, and #8 should always be Signet of Return; it's what makes Paragons shine in terms of resurrections.

Wow, seriously? A Paragon shouting too much? Jee, you sure that's possible? And this build seems to be more about party support rather than damage dealing, IAS doesn't need to be in the build. It'll help for Adrenaline gain but Energizing Chorus is 4 adrenaline which won't take long at all without IAS to gain.

Actually, I have no problem with energy and my build for some reason. I can understand where you'd think I'd run out but with a party of 8 and 14 leadership, I can get +7e for one shout. Song of Restoration is only 5e to use, so I actually gain 2e from that, and I only lose 3 from Ballad of Restoration.

Probably would go with a minor to prevent more hp loss. That high amount of Leadership is over-kill in my opinion. I'm content with a base of 10 Leadership to break even on most of the shouts/chants.

I don't see a problem with a Motivation build having low/no Spear Mastery. You just need the adrenalin to fuel the Chants. Its only a choice between 0 or 9 spear.

Its like complaining that prot/heal Monks and BiP are not pulling their weight in the damage department.

This thinking fails, sorry. There is absolutely no reason to NOT have decent spear mastery. Motivation is NOT strong enough to "not pull weight in the damage department".

Sorry, but if you are running a pure Motivation, then your Paragon is mediocre at best, but most likely below average compared to other Paragon builds.

Paragons can do really really good damage with their spears; it rivals warrior weapons, and this is from a range! In between shouts/chants it wouldn't hurt to throw some decent spears occasionally, even if support is priority, I would still have 9 minimum, preferably 12 in Spear Mastery. Since you need to fuel the adrenaline at least do some decent damage in the process, it makes it all the more better.

And I've tried raising Motivation relatively high and the numbers weren't that magnificent I think. 10 is a personal breaking point for Motivation, unless the situation requires I provide more support than anything.
